1st Nomination
Nurse Yowell was welcoming and kind. I was worried about my baby at 37 weeks pregnant; she helped me feel like I was not a burden. She is the "IV queen" when it comes to gentle and effective IV insertion. She can joke around while remaining professional. She is a well-rounded nurse.

2nd Nomination
When multiple people were preparing to deliver, the midwife and OB/GYN were busy ensuring everyone was taken care of. That meant they could not be in the room the whole time as I was pushing. Sierra guided me through pushing in the most encouraging and effective way possible, coaching me through that two-hour process and helping a stuck baby be safely delivered. She and our doula communicated seamlessly to get me to try out different positions that helped move the baby down. I am really grateful for her care!

3rd Nomination
Sierra and our midwife were an amazing team. They took great care of my wife and our newborn. Extremely pleasant and made the whole experience an absolute blessing. She came in checking on her and making sure everything was fine at least every 30 minutes. She was always in and out, bringing things we never asked for and being very, very careful and polite.
Sierra was amazing to me while I was in labor with my second baby. She helped me every step of the way, and she actually showed that she cared!

4th Nomination 
Sierra has been a fantastic nurse and has made labor and delivery the best experience possible. She has been a very kind, compassionate, and pleasant nurse. She’s gone out of her way to make sure everyone, not just the patient, is as comfortable as possible. Our family has truly appreciated everything she’s done today!

5th Nomination
She went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was taken care of.

6th Nomination 
She supported and coached my wife through natural labor. She went above and beyond her duty as a nurse. Her dedication to providing care was impressive, and I truly am thankful to have had her play a crucial role in my wife's labor.
