If Disney created a princess based off an intelligent, keenly professional, demure, soft-spoken, and surprisingly quick wit, her name would be Elizabeth S, RN.

Despite her age in the craft years out of college, one can tell that Elizabeth has been a natural born caretaker for her whole life. She exudes professionalism way beyond her years. Elizabeth eases fears with her knowledge and gentle caregiving. Immediately, she earned my trust. She has done the same (from what I have seen) with her coworkers, with visible mutual respect and comforting smiles/precious laughs when needed.

When Elizabeth looks at you as a patient, she looks INTO you, not THROUGH you. She is an active listener and processes/remembers what the patient needs. She never made me feel distrustful about my pain levels or levels of discomfort; rather, she went above and beyond to adjust to my needs.

“Daisy” would be the name of her princess in her Disney feature. Soft and funny, kind and steadfast, smart but not bragging – and ready to be fierce at the drop of a hat for those in need. Lakeview’s own “Belle”. She surely cares for all of the Beasts, but also will stand up as needed to fight for the goodness inside all.
