Brittany was my nurse for most of the daytime shifts while I was on the L&D unit. She provided a huge amount of encouragement and support. My labor and delivery were not easy - I pushed for 2-3 hours, and she was by my side the whole time, cheering me on and providing encouragement. When the decision was made to perform a C-section, Brittany helped keep my spirits up, reminding me that I was about to meet my daughter and to stay positive despite the change in birth plans. After the birth and delivery, she provided care for my daughter and me. She spent endless hours helping us learn to breastfeed. Her kindness, patience, and dedication to us as her patients will not be forgotten.
