My story is one of four days of Angelica Reynolds understanding my pain and mental level. She met me at where I was during my stay. She took time to listen even though things were chaotic at the hospital. Her sweet bedside manner calmed my anxiety by deeply understanding how it is to suffer from anxiety. She made sure my pain medications were always on time and always had time for personal conversations. She always made me feel important, respected, and heard. She made sure to check in with me. There were times during my stay when I felt I needed to ring for a nurse. When she was on call, I would never have to ring because she would promptly check in on me. This brought me lots of comfort in an environment that my anxiety made very uncomfortable. Angelica has been a blessing and an angel not just to me but also to my family, as she asked if she could meet any of their needs while they stayed with me. She was also confident and steady in all her actions, which helped put me at ease. I cannot express enough how grateful and blessed I was to receive her care during my stay.
