I am a 92-year-old male who went to the ER for the second time in five weeks and was in the ICU overnight. The next day, I had a room on the floor, and to my surprise, Rachel was my nurse for the second time. She was my day nurse for two days, and what a blessing. As a nurse, her skills were exceptional, and no task was too much for her to do for my care. She had many personal feelings for me and my family concerning my comfort and doing what is necessary for my medical care- explaining the procedures and what must be done. Rachel was kind, understanding, and went out of her way to take care of me and my family. She is a kindhearted person, a skilled nurse, and one who any patient would be happy to have.

My Dad was in the hospital twice this fall, and both times he had Rachel as his dayshift nurse. To find a nurse who is both knowledgeable, diligent, kind, thorough, and tenderhearted is amazing. Rachel is all of those and more. She cared for my dad’s medical needs expertly and his and his family’s emotional needs. She even contacted another nurse on her day off to check on my dad. She’s a 10 out of 10 in my book. We LOVE her!
