I had been in labor for about 12 hours when I met Bailey. She was the nurse assigned to the baby at the time of delivery. My epidural did not work; I had been contracting, and it was time for delivery. Bailey knew that I wanted a vaginal delivery and did everything in her power to help me fulfill that.

She suggested multiple plans for pushing. She advocated for me with the doctor. She controlled the room while making sure I knew she cared. She stayed past her shift to be there for my baby's delivery. She is an incredible nurse who very clearly cares about and advocates for her patients.
