My grandfather suffered a massive stroke affecting the left side of his brain. During our stay in the Neurocritical Care Unit, Trey became his nurse. From the moment he entered the room, Trey’s positive attitude and compassionate presence provided our family with comfort and reassurance during an incredibly difficult time.

Trey demonstrated not only outstanding clinical knowledge but also genuine empathy and kindness. He took the time to thoroughly explain my grandfather’s condition, the treatment plan, and the support our family would need in the days ahead. His ability to communicate clearly and with patience helped ease our worries and gave us confidence in the care my grandfather was receiving.

Our entire family remarked on how fortunate we felt to have Trey as my grandfather’s nurse. He treated my grandfather with dignity and respect while also making us feel included and supported. Even when we needed to step away, we had peace of mind knowing my grandfather was in Trey’s capable and compassionate hands. Trey went above and beyond in his role. He made us feel like more than just a family passing through a difficult situation — he made us feel seen, valued, and cared for.
