I was hospitalized at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital, and during that time, I underwent intensive occupational and physical therapy. It was a challenging experience, both physically and emotionally. However, what stands out most in my memory is the deep sense of isolation I felt on one particular day. It was a scheduled rest day, and although I was eager to continue therapy, I remained in my room the entire day. As the hours passed, the stillness became increasingly difficult.

I am incredibly grateful for Rhiannon’s empathy and attentiveness. She responded promptly when I pressed the call button and made her rounds with care and professionalism. She took the time to listen to my concerns, fears, and the anxiety I was experiencing about being in the hospital. Her words of reassurance that I was in the right place and under the care of an exceptional team truly comforted me.

What stood out most was the simple human kindness she brought into my room. She always knocked before entering, greeted me with a warm smile, and treated me with dignity. Those small gestures made a world of difference during a time when I felt especially vulnerable.

Rhiannon was accompanied by a student nurse named Charlie, and together they made an outstanding team. Having both Rhiannon and Charlie as part of my care team was a true gift, and I sincerely appreciated their presence, professionalism, and compassion.
