A patient was admitted for hyperthermia. She lives alone and her house has no air conditioning. She turned 80 years old while in the hospital, and no one came to greet her. This compassionate nurse bought her cake, and the MICU staff went to her room to sing Happy Birthday. This patient usually does not eat much, but this day, she was able to finish half of the cake slice.
