I came into the ER very sick after fainting and needed quite a bit of treatment to save my life. I needed lots of IVs, blood, tests, and meds. I was sent to the Med Surg unit where several assisted me, but the standout was Carlos. He took exceptional care of me. He was involved in making sure I was better, my care plan was followed, and he worked well with my doctors. I feel with Carlos that I actually had an advocate because I was here at the hospital by myself, and I feel that he was always looking out for my best interest, going above and beyond. As I had all kinds of pain and struggled in the middle of the night, Carlos was right there for me. I could tell that he cared deeply. The is very, very fortunate to have him taking care of patients. He will go above and beyond for his patients, and he actually makes this hospital a better place.
