She leads with empathy, courage, and a fierce dedication to health equity.
Rather than view community challenges as obstacles, Ebony consistently sees opportunities for engagement and empowerment. When local students from the school behind her clinic began gathering outside the facility in disruptive ways, she responded not with discipline but with compassion and vision.

Ebony initiated a dialogue with the students and hosted a community cookout that drew in approximately 30 young people. There, she educated them about kidney disease, dialysis, and the impact of these issues on their families and neighborhoods. This event was more than just outreach; it was a meaningful moment of community connection and health education that planted seeds of awareness and advocacy among the next generation

Ebony continues to expand her impact through a planned community health fair on the school’s football field. This event will not only feature dialysis education but will also include key local partners, mental health organizations to address critical behavioral health gaps, and the Black Fire Brigade to provide career exposure in EMS.

Her ability to curate a multi-dimensional approach to wellness, tailored to the specific needs of her community, demonstrates her deep commitment to holistic care and sustainable change. Though Ebony has held her administrative role for just one year, her influence has been swift and substantial. She leads with empathy, courage, and a fierce dedication to health equity.
