She is always willing to lend a helping hand and ready to assist patients and meet their needs, whether they are under her assignment or not.
There are not enough words to describe how exceptional a nurse Jenny is. She is always willing to lend a helping hand and ready to assist patients and meet their needs, whether they are under her assignment or not.
For example, there have been patients brought up to the unit who were very confused and combative. On specific occasions, although these patients were not under her care, she stopped whatever she was doing to help. She has sat with these patients and remained with them as long as needed until they were stabilized and cooperative.
On her days off, when the unit is in need of extra help, she is always just a call away and willing to come in so that each patient receives exceptional care. During her free time, Jenny is learning another language, specifically Spanish, so she can communicate with patients who face a language barrier. I have personally witnessed her making the effort to communicate with Spanish-speaking patients. Their expressions of nervousness and fear change to smiles, appreciating that Jenny is trying to connect with them.
Each of her patients has expressed gratitude and appreciation for having Jenny as their nurse. These are just a few examples of the caring, exceptional, and outstanding qualities that Jenny consistently demonstrates as a nurse.
