Nicole is a strong nurse and leader in her unit who will go the extra mile for her peers, and patients. The Moss Rehab Brain Injury Unit staff care for patients with challenging circumstances as a result of their injuries.

Nicole has closely worked with one patient who has had a complicated inpatient stay that involved clinical, behavioral, and safety issues. She has always approached this patient with kindness and compassion. She took the time to connect with him and a personal level and, as a result, established his trust. Nicole has ensured that he received the best possible care and has been instrumental in the collaboration and continuity of care needs to meet this patient's needs. Whenever the patient hears Nicole's name, he smiles.

This is just one example of the many ways that she promotes patient care excellence. She is amazing with the patients and their loved ones when they are facing difficult, life-changing events. She as a true role model and outstanding nurse.
