Since the first day I had been put on Dialysis, Theresa has been wonderful. She helped me understand exactly what was happening. When I am on the dialysis machine, she has answered all of my questions about the levels I need to watch out for with my renal diet, along with giving suggestions about the diet. This transition to dialysis was extremely difficult for me, as I was used to working a 40-hour work week and doing everything on my own. Theresa has been there to listen and comfort me through my good days and bad. Her kindness and patience have made all the difference during the difficult time adjusting to this new lifestyle and diet. Theresa is a true “Gem” for the Dialysis Unit and in the hospital. You can tell she truly loves her work and should be commended.
