My husband presented with so many issues. The entire ICU staff is incredible; they work wonderfully together as a team unit and truly care about their patients. Yulissa- what an amazing human, nurse, person, caregiver, and all-around beautiful soul. She was able to describe what was going on in the simplest yet respectful terms, using a car analogy. It made so much more sense not only to me and the children but also to my husband, who was very confused as to why we were in the ICU. After the explanation, he was able to understand the serious nature of the situation, and he was more accepting of the journey he was on. To say the least, we love this hospital and staff.
