You never stop worrying about your kids, no matter how old they are, but knowing she had Tabby as her nurse gave me the peace I needed to know I could leave the hospital and that my daughter was in the very best hands.
My daughter had to stay in the ICU for almost 3 weeks. The day she came into the ICU in critical condition was the scariest thing I have had to witness in a long time. I came to the door and witnessed Tabby doing everything in her power to make sure my daughter was cared for on a nursing level and then beyond. She talked to her and explained every detail, even though she was on a vent. She cleaned her face and showed so much care and love with her actions. The whole stay, Tabby's care for my daughter was unmatched. The amount of time, concern, and compassion she showed was very moving. My daughter never wanted or needed anything under her care. You never stop worrying about your kids, no matter how old they are, but knowing she had Tabby as her nurse gave me the peace I needed to know I could leave the hospital and that my daughter was in the very best hands. My family and I will never be able to thank her enough!

Tabby was with my father in the ICU for the first several days of his 8-day stay in the ICU. When it didn't look like he would make it, she put her arms around me and told me that "she wasn't giving up, and it would be alright". Standing alone by his bed, and her saying that meant the world to me. She watched as our pastor prayed, and my dad opened his eyes for a moment, then the ventilator was put on hold, and she said, "I saw prayers be answered". She believed in the power of prayer, as I do. She comforted our whole family as we rotated 24/7, staying. She stayed on top of medicine and oxygen adjustments, and made constant trips into the room to personally check on him. She was our angel in the ICU.
