As their leader, I am proud to work alongside this extraordinary group of infusion nurses. They are some of the kindest and most empathetic professionals I’ve ever met, consistently going above and beyond for their patients. Whether it’s ensuring a warm blanket and pillow are waiting on each infusion chair, baking a birthday cake to celebrate a special day, or remembering a small detail that shows genuine care for each patient’s life beyond treatment, their compassion shines through in every interaction.

Our Press Ganey scores and patient comments reflect this exceptional care time and again, with frequent mentions of individual nurses by name. After just a few treatments, most patients know the entire team by heart and are greeted with a warm smile at every visit.

Oncology can be an emotionally challenging field, yet these nurses demonstrate remarkable strength and resilience. They hold a patient’s hand after difficult news, visit them in the inpatient unit to say goodbye when hospice becomes part of their journey, and continue to provide comfort and dignity in every circumstance.
