My 3-year-old was admitted for ITP, and Rachel was wonderful right off the bat. She was our daytime nurse, and he was nervous at first. She made sure to build a trusting relationship with patients and me, and it was the best experience I've had with an RN.

At discharge, he had to make sure he gave her a high five and a hug, and had a hard time leaving, saying he wanted to stay. We were inpatient for a little over 24 hours, and the bond they built was something you'd see from a close family friend. She was on top of everything and made sure all my questions got answered.
