I will be forever grateful for the skill and kindness Beth showed us.
My best friend was transferred to the ICU with stage 4 small-cell lung cancer. She was recently diagnosed and was in huge respiratory distress. Our nurse Beth could not have been better. She made her comfortable and made her family feel welcome, and it was such a relief to be there and see her get such wonderful care. She had some respiratory crises and decided to switch to palliative care, which was done promptly, and she was placed on a morphine drip. Beth explained everything along the way. Before the end of her shift, she made sure she was comfortable and that her family was too. Beth introduced the nurse who was following her, and before she left, she gave us little lab tubes with pieces of my best friend’s EKG so we would always have a piece of her heart.  I am a retired hospice nurse, and so was my best friend. I will be forever grateful for the skill and kindness Beth showed us. Congrats on having such lovely staff
