When my father-in-law was placed in hospice for advanced dementia, it was so hard on the family because he’s only 62. Tracy took very good care of my father-in-law while he was in hospice. You could tell that she is an exceptional nurse who understands how to care for the veterans in their end-of-life care! She talked to him as if he were coherent and understood what she said. She has a kind soul, and it shows. She took her time to explain to him what she was going to do. She not only took care of him, but she was accommodating my mother-in-law, who stayed with him every day. She helped when the visitors overwhelmed the room and moved him to a larger room. I wish I could nominate her more than once because she absolutely deserves it.
