I travelled from across the country at a moment's notice to my dad’s bedside after being notified of his medical situation. When I arrived, following a day-long, exhausting trip, Maureen provided straightforward advice, support, and reassurance. In addition to assisting with my needs, she provided care to my dad that was respectful and considerate. She protected and advocated for my dad, ensuring he had the comfort and interventions that honored his wishes. She managed his condition so that we could keep him stable until I arrived. Knowing he was in such good hands provided our family the strength to support his final wishes.
