I was brought to the hospital with limited mobility and a bad skin infection in my leg. Due to this, I was bed-bound. I am usually a very active person, and my condition increased my already present anxiety issue, especially where it concerned bathroom issues. After three days, I was severely impacted. Esther helped, but I was very embarrassed. This was exasperated by a pair of accidents. I was anxious and upset about this and future episodes, but Esther sat with me and not only cleaned me up, but also talked with me to let me know this was normal and I had nothing to be upset about. She calmed me down and took the time to worry about my feelings and concerns. She made what could have been an unbearable situation something I knew I could manage.
