Without even telling Kenna, she went out of her way to give me three essential oils that the hospital uses for people who have trouble sleeping.
Only nice things can be said about Kenna. She cares deeply and excels in her work. She will go above and beyond for everyone, doing it with concern and sympathy. She lets you feel comfortable, and even when I am in a little bit of pain. Always there when I need to take care of things. Thank you, Kenna, for making this long stay not bad.

I have not been able to sleep well the past few weeks I have been here. I had been trying everything I could think of. Without even telling Kenna, she went out of her way to give me three essential oils that the hospital uses for people who have trouble sleeping. She asked the doctor to change my sleeping pill because the other one was not working, and I was able to sleep. I have visited six different rooms, and Kenna stands out among all the other amazing people working here at UMC. Always there, even if she is busy, she will find someone else to help me. She brushed my hair, and it was almost knotted; she washed it for me, too! It made me feel comfortable in an uncomfortable environment. Knowing I had her let me have a piece of mind. She cares and deserves this award more than anyone!

Kenna is the best nurse I have encountered during my two-week stay here at UMC. I have been in six different rooms and three different floors. Everyone is nice, but Kenna stands out. I understand that it is a hospital and that it is always busy, but she made it clear that she cared, and even if she couldn't help right away, she would still pop in, letting me know that she would be there soon. She helped wash/brush my hair. It always made me feel comfortable, so I didn't have to keep asking for help. She would always pop in to see if I needed anything at all. Kenna would always keep me updated on my next move in the hospital, and when I could take my medicine, she would grab my water before I even asked her. She cares and is not here just for the paycheck.
