Dr. Jennings is the best professor I have ever had.
Dr. Jennings has been such an influential person in my nursing school experience. Her commitment to our education and success is so prevalent. She makes sure to teach us what is in our text, but also gives us real-life scenarios from her experience, which helps make it feel more real to us. She always wants feedback on what is working and what is not, in order to make her classes more beneficial for her students. Not only does she care about our education success, but she also shows a genuine interest in our overall well-being.

Dr. Jennings is so passionate, personable, approachable, and willing to help students. Her real-time nursing experience keeps her relevant in the field. It is so clear that she deeply cares for her students and always works to teach in different ways to help us grasp the information. She deeply cares about our success, is timely and careful in her communication, and keeps us all engaged and interested.

Dr. Jennings is the best professor I have ever had. From the first class I had with her, I felt instantly comfortable and confident in choosing Curry as the school to get my BSN. She will do anything for her students, even while juggling life as a mother, nurse, and getting her doctorate. During a simulation lab last semester, I had a cardiac issue that resulted in going to the ER. Dr. Jennings sat by my side and calmed me down until the ambulance got there. She even offered to go in the ambulance with me. Her kindness and compassion for nursing students are impeccable. My entire cohort talks constantly about how thankful we are to have her as a professor for three different classes. Each time I think about what type of nurse I am going to be, I can only hope to be as good a nurse as Dr. Jennings.

She is simply the best. After teaching us in Medsurge 1, I couldn’t wait to see her again for Medsurge 2. She kept us motivated and sparked something in all of us.

She goes above and beyond to help the students. She wrote me an amazing letter of recommendation that helped land me a new grad job in an ICU that wasn’t specifically looking for new grads, just nurses.
