Amanda consistently goes above and beyond to bring kindness, compassion, and Joy to her patients. Amanda was caring for a very confused patient with dementia who truly believed that it was her birthday. Despite it not being the patient's actual birthday. Amanda embraced the moment and made it special. Amanda went down to the hospital gift shop and purchased flowers for the patient. When Amanda presented the flowers and wished her a happy birthday, the patient lit up with joy. That small act of kindness had a profound impact, making the patient feel seen and loved. This is just one instance of Amanda's incredible heart and positive spirit. She brings light to the unit every shift she works, lifting up not only her patients but also the entire team. Her empathy, attentiveness, and genuine care are felt by everyone around her. Amanda is a true example of what it means to be a compassionate and dedicated nurse.
