Miko is one of the most extraordinary nurses I have ever worked with; he goes above and beyond with every single one of his patients. He is an incredible team leader and always supports his fellow nurses in any way he can; he is always there as a helping hand when you need him. Miko routinely exceeds expectations, seeing patients in a holistic manner, caring for their soul as well as their body.

An example of this would be Miko putting in the effort to ambulate a patient who had been in the ICU for a week so that they could see out the windows on the skywalk. He spent hours coordinating the logistics just so the patient could have the opportunity to see the sunrise. This is one of countless instances in which Miko embodies the true essence of what it means to be a nurse. He deserves recognition for all his hard work and his tender heart for his patients.
