I want to share the incredible experience we had as a family thanks to Cami Romero, who has touched our lives in a way we will never forget. My brother has been hospitalized for over two months, facing an extremely difficult and painful situation. After a serious accident and having been in the UPCA for over a month, she not only fulfilled her professional role, but did so with a dedication and humanity that went beyond all expectations. Every time she entered the room, she not only brought care but also warmth. From her words of encouragement to our F, to taking the time to talk to him, to understanding him during a very difficult time. As a nurse, she was involved in much more than just her part; she helped with his lunches, taught us, and explained different things to us as a family. Cami showed us that caring goes far beyond the technical aspects.

For our family, she was not only an exceptional professional but a true pillar. She listened to us and helped us cope with the weight of this experience with great empathy. For all this and much more, we believe Cami deserves the DAISY Award.
