Laura has gone above and beyond to help a veteran who sent a message expressing suicidal ideations. She collaborated with the home health nurse who was with the veteran and gave a warm hand-off to the veteran's crisis line and Mental Health team. She kept all the relevant healthcare team members in the loop and ensured veterans’ safety by practicing ICARE values. Thank you, Laura, for saving a precious life.
