During my time in labor and delivery, Carissa made me feel safe and cared for. She was patient and kind during a challenging time and always reassured me that things I was experiencing were normal and okay. I especially remember her caring for me as I was getting an epidural and having contractions. I did not have a good experience at another hospital with my firstborn. So, this pregnancy was filled with fear about labor and delivery, and feeling safe. The importance of the nurse caring for you during this vulnerable time stays with you. Carissa made this experience significantly better than that of a previous provider, and I am truly grateful.
