Izabela was recognized by a patient who was admitted to Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation multiple times, with the most recent encounter coming after a life-changing amputation and subsequent prosthetic training.

“I've had the pleasure of getting to know nurse Izabela over the past year,” said the patient. “She was my nurse during the night shift. I always looked forward to seeing her.”

During late-night chats, Izabela learned all about the patient’s journey and challenges. She was always ready with care and advice that helped the patient heal physically and emotionally.
