I am nominating Courtney because she consistently goes above and beyond for both her patients and her coworkers. She is the true definition of a team player—always stepping in to help without being asked, and doing so with compassion and grace. One particular weekend stands out: she voluntarily took on two complex patients that many other nurses preferred to rotate due to their confusion and the demanding wound care they required. Not only did she care for them all weekend without complaint, but she did so with remarkable patience, empathy, and clinical excellence. Her dedication to doing what’s best for her patients, even when it’s challenging, is inspiring. She makes our unit stronger, and her presence is truly appreciated.
