I am honored to nominate this Nurse for the DAISY Award. Since joining our team at Homes, Debbie has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to patient care. Her compassion, work ethic, and empathy set a powerful example for all of us. She embodies the core values of ICARE and is the true definition of what it means to be a HOMIE.

One instance that truly highlighted her dedication involved an elderly patient who arrived infested with lice. The situation was severe—so much so that the patient's hair was matted and hardened, making it impossible to apply treatment. She took the time, with patience and care, to gently comb through the hair, remove the lice nests, and ensure the medication was properly applied to both hair and body. Her actions went far beyond clinical duty—they reflected a nurse treating someone as if it were her own loved one.

She brings heart, healing, and humanity into every room she enters. She is deeply deserving of the DAISY Award.
