I am nominating Lexie for the DAISY Award because of the great care and compassion she shows on the psych floor. She approaches each shift with empathy and a commitment to patient-centered care. She is able to connect with patients and listen to what their needs may be. She makes the floor feel safe and comfortable for not only the staff but also the patients. Lexie is a great charge nurse and is a great teammate to work with. She is always ready to help and offer support. She is dedicated to the well-being of others, along with her professionalism and heart. She is a true asset to the psych unit and a perfect candidate for the DAISY Award!
