Amy has a very nurturing demeanor, which makes her approachable and easy to talk to. She excels in organization, time management, and teaching in general. She makes herself available for the staff at any time and even made a PACU group chat so that we could voice our concerns. She has taken over the Perioperative UBE role with grace and immediately focused on the yearly passports. She provides ample learning opportunities, demonstrations, videos, printed handouts, and guest speakers. One of her most impressive accomplishments is her New Hire Education handbook. It is filled with policies, diagrams, pictures, and handouts that are easy to follow. Amy is not only our department educator but also serves as a role model by jumping into the RN Circulator role when needed. She truly exemplifies teamwork and patient-centered care!
