I had a lot of exceptional care during my 4 days and nights at Abbott, from the MRI tech to the IV nurse to the guy who brought my breakfast, but the most outstanding of all was Adey.  It was clearly evident right from the point when she introduced herself that she deeply cares about the quality of her work; treats the patient and family with respect, dignity, and compassion as if they were her own family members; and easily demonstrated mastery of her profession.   

I felt like I was in the most competent hands available when Adey was present.  When my wife had a concern about some unusual, sporadic swelling on my neck, Adey was right there and took her concerns seriously, and made sure it was followed up on and addressed.  Most of all, Adey made time to talk with us to explain everything we had questions about, and to share her own experiences to help us through this ordeal.   

We quickly came to trust Adey's experience and took great comfort from her care. The student nurses learning at her side are in the most capable hands, and I could see how she taught them with patience and a thoroughness that will do them well throughout their own careers.  She also showed the same care and compassion when helping her own colleagues improve their own skills.
