Had to have an NG tube placed 2 different times during hospital stay for bowel obstruction. Kirsten was the nurse working with me both days the NG tube had to be replaced. She was very articulate and explained the process to me.  

Kirsten made me feel safe. She gave me confidence that I would get better, and she was there to help me get through. I was in really rough shape.  She is an exceptional nurse. Even on days that she wasn’t assigned to me or when working as the charge RN, she would come check on me to help give me hope and motivation. She is so deserving of this DAISY Award. She is amazing! I have been in many other hospitals – I have never experienced such an attentive nurse as Kirsten. She is top-notch!  

I am an 88-year-old patient and had a huge bladder surgery - Kirsten gave me the hope and confidence that I would get through this. I am so excited to be discharging after 23 days. Kirsten, luckily, is here today to say goodbye.
