Seth was working when we presented to the Dupont ER for my 1-year-old son, K. Little did we know, this would be the start of a huge change in our lives. Seth was kind, compassionate, and absolutely amazing with my son. His calm and caring demeanor helped us stay calm. He was not our assigned nurse, but he continued to come in to help and ensure we were doing okay.

We eventually were transferred out, but continued to remember Seth. Fast forward, and we found ourselves back in Dupont ER. When we were being taken back to the room, I locked eyes with Seth. He again was not assigned to us. He came in and said he remembered us, and he asked how K has been doing. He helped to get IV access, as he knew K was a hard stick. He again offered kindness and compassion and helped put us at ease. He was very empathetic when I explained that K was eventually diagnosed with a terminal condition during the time since our first meeting. Seth truly made a difference in our difficult journey we have been on with our 1-year-old. His kindness, compassion, and being a truly amazing nurse will be something we will never forget! If we ever find ourselves in the Dupont ER again, we would absolutely love to have Seth care for us or any of our children.
