She was so amazing and loving to me truly appreciate her. After not being able to sleep for 30 hours trying to take care of my mom, Mackenzie is an absolute angel and godsend to me. I will forever be indebted to her love and compassion.
We are so thankful for Mackenzie! She is so patient, attentive, understanding, and supportive of our mom. Our mom asked her to continuously perform the same task within minutes of each other, even though it turned out that it wasn't needed, she still performed her duties with love, patience, and respect. McKenzie would get our mom all settled and relaxed with pillows under her arms and her legs and make her as comfortable as possible. As soon as she was done and left the room, our mom would say that she had to use the bathroom. Even though she felt that sensation, she still didn't need to physically "go". McKenzie would immediately come back into the room and go through the same routine continuously to help make her mom feel heard and respected. Our mom would continuously ask Mackenzie to scratch the rash on her back as well. Mackenzie would lightly, very lightly scratch her back for her and apply cortisone cream as much as she possibly could all over her back and body. McKenzie would even ask the family if there was anything she could do for us or if we needed anything. She was so amazing and loving to me truly appreciate her. After not being able to sleep for 30 hours trying to take care of my mom, Mackenzie is an absolute angel and godsend to me. I will forever be indebted to her love and compassion.
Mackenzie helped us to feel reassured and thankful that our mom was receiving the best care and that she was in good hands. We knew our mom was being treated with kindness and respect. My daughter is in her last year of nursing school, and I hope she will be just like Mackenzie. I hope my daughter will have the dedication, the love for job and patients as Mackenzie.
