Angela Carroll has gone above and beyond in the care she provides my child. She has been consistent in providing an extremely high level of care and compassion to my child and myself since the first day we met her. She has been with us for about 2 years, and has recently been with me during 2, very emergent, and stressful situations with my child.
Angela remains calm, is quick to take action, and has great suggestions, all while making sure I was comfortable with every move. She has advocated for my child to receive medical equipment in the home, which has helped ensure his safety and increase his stability in the home environment to limit excessive hospital and ER visits.
Most recently, it was suggesting I get a PRN order for supplemental oxygen. We got it. And not even a month later at 1:30 a.m., I had to use it as my child’s oxygen saturations were quickly dropping. This oxygen stabilized my child so we could take him comfortably by car and not ambulance, minimizing his medical trauma, to the ER.
Again, after that hospital stay my child had to be on oxygen and because we had it at home we were able to avoid a hospital stay. I am so thankful for her suggestion. I am so blessed to know Angela and am beyond thankful for her role as my child’s nurse. She is one of a kind.
