Malina has this way of making me feel like I can always do more or achieve more, and pushes me to be better every single time.
I am an international nurse in labor and delivery, and as my three-year employment commitment is about to end, I would like to take this moment to express my heartfelt gratitude and say thank you to my very supportive charge nurse, Malina Brayboy. I have been so lucky to meet an amazing charge nurse like her. She is an exceptional leader, she’s a compassionate co-worker, and a remarkable person. My entire time at CFVMC has been one of the best and most memorable experiences because of my manager and the L&D team’s positive attitude and especially Malina. She has made me feel welcome, appreciated and has treated me as one of her family that I can count on even outside of work. I could say that she is one of the reasons I have grown as a nurse and have improved my nursing skills because of her support and guidance. She has been with me from the beginning, and I will always remember how she inspired me to make changes I was afraid to make. She has definitely helped me reach my full potential. Whenever I doubt myself, she always stands beside me no matter what, reminding me that I can always believe in myself and my clinical judgement. Malina has this way of making me feel like I can always do more or achieve more, and pushes me to be better every single time. It truly means the world to me to have such a wonderful supporter, and I am grateful to have met and worked with her.
