Julie goes out of her way to ensure her students learn. She is truly compassionate and caring, providing an inclusive and engaging learning environment. She provides multiple opportunities for everyone to learn in multiple different formats to ensure understanding, is willing to help with personal challenges, and goes out of her way to ensure that everyone is doing well mentally and physically. Julie will bring in snacks she purchased out of the kindness of her heart to ensure that her students are not hungry, and so many more instances in which she has gone above and beyond for her students. She is an outstanding and caring professor who truly cares in a way that makes each student feel special and seen. I truly enjoy her class and her as a person, as she is truly a delight to be around. People with her level of kindness and care are so rare. She is an amazing person and an absolute credit to the nursing department at MWSU.
