Nurse Kaitlyn was so kind, informative. She made me feel she really understood my feelings and frustrations. While vomiting, she was right by my side, comforting me, knowing I knew this meant I was not going to be able to go home that day as planned.  I was lucky enough to have Kaitlyn for my nurse.  I can honestly say I would not have made it through the last two days of my hospital stay without her.  She is a true asset to Winchester Hospital and the very meaning of a caring nurse.   I understand how a job in healthcare can weigh on you.  You almost need to harden yourself to survive the emotional rollercoaster the job can take you on.   Kaitlyn seems to have mastered the balance without sacrificing patient kindness.  It was her kindness, her empathy, her sympathy, her checking in on me without my having to call for her, and her warm smile that made me feel at ease, allowing me to relax and rest for healing.  The qualities Kaitlyn carries as a nurse you cannot teach and are priceless in my opinion.
