Liz is not just a fantastic nurse; she is the epitome of nursing. From caring for her patients to supporting our residents and leaders, Liz has poured her heart and soul into this hospital. She has touched every corner and every team, and people’s eyes light up when they hear her name. She has organized so many events and helps tremendously with engagement. She brings forth a positive attitude that makes people want to be better. For me, personally, she has helped me become a strong person. Since meeting Liz when she was a student who came to our ICU, which was then located on the fourth floor, she brought a special energy that I felt. We leaned on each other in times of turmoil and laughed with each other in times of happiness. She inspired me to even become a chair of a committee. But most importantly, she hasn’t just become a wonderful leader in my eyes; she is one of my greatest friends, and to me, she is a sister. Liz, you have earned and deserve this nomination, and I look forward to seeing how you continue to advance in your career.
