Morgan consistently goes above and beyond expectations to provide compassionate, comprehensive care to patients in our Emergency Department. This morning, in the flux of a busy Monday morning, an elderly patient who battles memory deficits was struggling with answering questions while waiting for his wife to arrive. Morgan calmly reassured him and patiently sat with him, walking him through the process of his care with incredible compassion and professionalism. She treated him like a family member. He became emotional with overwhelming gratitude for her thoughtful care. He requires several dietary restrictions, and our dietary department was not going to be available for hours, so Morgan used her personal break to go down to the cafeteria to get him a meal. Morgan is invaluable to our team and community. Thank you for recognizing her and positively reinforcing such selfless care.
