I found her to genuinely care about me and my recovery.
I am writing this letter to convey well earned praise for a Tri-Health team member. I found the Tri-Health postcard size feedback form to be too small to completely document all of my thoughts.
The most exceptional experience of caring was with this nurse last Wednesday and Thursday. I found her to genuinely care about me and my recovery. She is also the perfect blend of accountability and compassion, and this increased my willingness to eat sufficiently to regain weight.
Her approach was exactly what I needed to increase my daily caloric intake first above 700 calories per day and then 1,000+ calories per day and rising with the Ensure™ drink and solid foods. She realized the hard work that I put in and genuinely recognized it.
I never had to use the call light with her because she always sensed what I needed and got it done before I realized that I needed it. She was always a few steps ahead, and that is priceless and comforting when you are a patient in a hospital. She also stopped by yesterday just to see how I was doing after she finished her duties on another Bethesda North level.
I could go on and on about the invaluable things that she did to ensure my progress and faster recovery. I am confident that she regularly goes above and beyond for all her patients. It's the standard that she shows up to work with.
