During my recent hospital stay for a broken hip, I was incredibly fortunate to be cared for by an exceptional nurse named Sylvia. Her compassion, professionalism, and dedication made a difficult time much more bearable. 

From the moment I arrived, Sylvia treated me with kindness and patience, always taking the time to explain procedures, answer my questions, and ensure I was as comfortable as possible. Her attentiveness and gentle demeanor helped ease both my physical pain and emotional stress. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my well-being, going above and beyond her duties to provide not only excellent medical care but also much-needed emotional support. She took time to ease my granddaughter's anxiety about my surgery and patiently answered all the questions we had. I'm pretty sure we took up most of her time, but she was so patient and sweet. She explained everything she was doing every time she was in my room. While she was giving me a surgical bath before my surgery, she was incredibly patient and soothed my pain and went at the pace I was comfortable with because I was in a lot of pain. 

I am deeply grateful for Sylvia’s help and will always remember the difference she made in my recovery. My granddaughter and I could not stop talking about how exceptional she was. Her gentle demeanor, patience, and genuine concern for my well-being made all the difference. Sylvia truly exemplifies what it means to be a DAISY Nurse, and I am deeply grateful for the care she provided.
