My water broke the second we pulled into the hospital main entrance-drop off/pick-up area. Kayla ran down and met us in the elevator and immediately took me up to the unit. She ran me through the hall and back to my room because she knew I was having the baby soon. She and the other nurses worked together as a great team to make sure I got the care I needed.

I was only in the room for less than 10 minutes before my baby was delivered. It all happened really quickly, but Kayla kept reassuring me the whole time. All the nurses remained very calm in that high-stress moment, and they helped the midwife safely deliver my baby. The nurses were all so kind and helpful, and I’m so thankful that they were the team working that day.
