During one of the most difficult and vulnerable times in our lives, Krystal was a source of comfort, compassion, and clarity. Our newborn son was in the NICU, and as brand-new parents, we were overwhelmed, scared, and unsure of how to navigate this new world. From the very beginning, Krystal made us feel safe, seen, and supported. She didn’t just care for our son medically—she truly cared for him as a person. We could feel that. Every interaction with her was filled with gentleness and intention, and she took the time to help us understand what was happening with our baby’s care without ever making us feel silly or out of place. She spoke to us in terms we could understand, always explaining things in a way that made us feel empowered instead of confused.
