I called an ambulance after having chest pains while home alone. After being in the ER, I was admitted to the hospital for more tests. This led me to stay in unit 3 West where I met Jasmine Rivera. I had an incredible experience with Nurse Jasmine. I truly can’t thank her enough. From the moment she walked in, she made me feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. Her attentiveness was unmatched- she answered all my questions patiently and never once made me feel rushed, even though I know how busy nurses can be. What stood out the most was her compassion and empathy. I was feeling scared and vulnerable, but she created a space where I felt comfortable and safe. It was not only her professional care but also her emotional support. She made this tough, scary time more bearable. I will always be grateful for the kindness she gave me. She is a true example of what nursing is all about!
