I can not pinpoint one moment or specific time that Sharon was remarkable. She was remarkable every night that she was assigned to me. Ms Sharon talked me through times of anxiety, calming me through very painful nights. She listened to my questions and concerns, directing me to the medical professionals in-house who could help. She provided me with medical literature to help me understand my physical situation. Ms. Sharon also gave me sweet distractions from the daily reminder that I was in the hospital. We talked about crafting, crocheting, gardening, and much more. She went above and beyond each night. Ms. Sharon was unbiased, and even though I am sure I am much older than her, she gave me the tools I needed to make informed choices about my care in a mothering and nurturing way. Ms. Sharon also gave excellent nursing care. Her organized approach to nursing assured that meds were delivered on time and with few interruptions to my rest and healing process. I am so grateful for her and her dedication to nursing, not just for one moment at a time, every day, every hour, and every minute she was my nurse. Thanks from the bottom of my heart, Ms. Sharon.
